This mode is for people who, like me, just want to be able to press some buttons without taking your thumbs off the analog sticks.

The attachment is automatically set to “Tournament Mode” which has all mods turned off.

To be fair to the PS4 Strikepack, you are not forced to touch the mods if you don’t want to.

If you’re like me, and you have no interest in cheating, then this is as far as you will go with the Strikepack FPS. The two added paddles can be programmed quickly and easily by pressing a combination of 3 buttons, including the button you wish to remap to one of the paddles. These mods include rapid fire, drop shot, jitter fire, auto-run, and quick scoping, among others. I can also change the paddle mappings on the fly in game without any problems. The Collective Minds StrikePack FPS Dominator is a controller add-on that allows for button mapping to two rear paddles and a variety of game mods for current competitive shooters like Call of Duty. But in Tournament mode, the controller works perfectly fine including the mapped paddles.

I don't use the Strikepack's MOD mode so I don't know if using that mode changes anything. I currently have DS4Windows set to create a virtual DS4 controller instead of Xbox, but I did briefly try the Xbox mode and it works perfectly fine too.

I also completely disabled controller support in my Steam settings in case you are using Steam. I'm also using the latest firmware available for the Strikepack. I didn't do anything special to the Strikepack itself aside from just setting it to Tournament Mode and mapping buttons to the paddles. If so, the log should mention some thing like Found Controller: 26:93:56:4A:00:00 (USB) (CronusMax (PS4 Mode)). Definitely try the debug version of DS4Windows that has mentioned to see what HID devices are being enumerated and make sure the Strikepack FPS dominator+DS4 is being seen. In your case, it looks like your computer is recognizing the controller already as an HID device. In my environment, it did not work right away because I was using other software/drivers to get it to work (specifically ScpToolkit) and it prevented DS4Win from picking up the controller as an HID device. Yep, in #882 I also requested support for the Strikepack FPS dominator, but it turns out it's already supported through the CronusMax device handle. Just chiming in here to add to what already mentioned. cose the debug DS4Win app and re-launch it when changing a gamepad connection). Do separate debug generation while connecting the gamepad with USB and BT (ie. Run the deviceDetect debug version as instructed in the Troubleshooing documentation page and please provide the logfile (content of Logs tabpage in DS4Windows). The debug version will generate loooots of detailed messages about detected gamepads and HID devices and how it goes when DS4Windows tries to negotiate a connection to a gamepad device.

If the gamepad really doesn't work in your PC then maybe you should try to run a special debug version of DS4Windows app. See this post about CronusMax tests: #702 However, in this case it worked only if CronusMax was set to use the gamepad in PS4 mode in Cronus settings. In your case "HID\VID_054C&PID_05C5" device handle is known also as CronusMax (PS4 Mode) device and this is supported in DS4Windows already.

Is it so that in your setup DS4Windows doesn't recognize the gamepad at all or do you mean that the gamepad is recognized but you would like to use one of those non-standard DS4 features of Strikepack? See this issue post: #882 Kurisu-gh has reported that Strickpack FPS Dominator works already with the latest DS4Windows version.
